About COBISEC.org

An independent guide to British international education for families and teachers.

COBISEC.org publishes practical guides to the British curriculum abroad, country-by-country overviews of British international schools, and career guidance for teachers moving overseas.

Independence

We are not affiliated with COBIS (Council of British International Schools) or any school group. The domain once belonged to COBISEC, the association's name until 2007. We tell that story on our history page. Schools cannot pay to be listed or to change what we write about them.

How we work

Every article shows when it was last reviewed and the sources it relies on. Read our editorial policy.

Technology partner

Our technology partner is Miraks, a small lab of free web tools and guides for people who build websites, including tools that check how pages appear to search engines and AI crawlers. Miraks has no say over what we publish about schools.
